Playful conversational characters

Tall Tales

The same engine, off the clock. Legends, cryptids, and folk characters that hold up a conversation, charming on the surface and grounded in a place underneath.

SquatchChat. Channel 09, dusk. Say hello, bring snacks.

What it is

Tall Tales is the studio's lighter line. The same engine behind an author presence or a regional monolith also carries a friendly Sasquatch; the difference is register, not rigor. Each character is grounded and consistent, the world is just allowed to be funny.

SquatchChat is the first. A dusk trail-cam on Channel 09 reaches the forest's friendliest legendary local, a curious presence coaxed out of the cedars with talk of footprints and the cooler. Under the play, the characters carry regional knowledge, the plants and animals of a place, how to read the woods and keep safe in them, and the facts hold up.

Because anyone might wander in, the experiences run with guardrails and are made to be safe to hand to anyone. The same construct runs from a phone to a holographic display, so a Tall Tale can take shape as an app, a kiosk, or a licensed character.

Some presences are here to play.
